Just wanted to say hello, and introduce myself. I found the forum a few weeks ago, and decided to post today.
I'm a Virginia local living in northern VA near the DC area. I just graduated from Virginia Tech in engineering a week or so ago. I started cooking a lot in college, so randomly found this site while looking for a few recipes. I grew tired of Ramen Noodles my freshman year of school, and taught myself to cook over the past few years. My friends started calling me the cook of our group, and I ended up being the chef for our tailgates and a bunch of dinners as I learned to cook.
I'll be working soon as an engineer for my job, but will definitely be keeping up with the cooking hobby. I look forward to being a part of the forum community!
