After many years of just dabbling in cooking the odd meal over the last 25yrs I have decided to pull my weight in the kitchen.
My wife is not the most confident cook, she can cook but gets stressed out and prefers to stick with what she knows. After a long discussion we decided that I would cook weekdays and she would do weekends...I used to have to cook or starve and found in my youth it was a great way to tempt the ladies......!!
3 weeks in and all is working out, we are eating well and both enjoying the experience. The internet is a wonderful resource and there are so many great recipes that are not hard to cook and cheap enough for weekday budgets.....
