Joined today and really looking forward to some new recipe's and looking forward to reading some new tips and idea's. I am a Welsh lady living in Cyprus and loving every minute. I love to cook, have tried a few cypriot dishes and not doing to badly, hope I will improve with time.
A little tip for starters. How many cucumbers have you thrown out well no more. Here in Cyprus we can only buy small ones so to buy 6 or more at a time is normal. But I kept having to throw most of them away as they would not keep. No more I now wrap each one in a piece of kitchen roll, slighty damp paper and place in a bag in the veg container of your fridge they will last up to three weeks and stay nice and firm.
