Recovery is fine, just got back from Rehab, where they are trying to kill me. I worked my first 11 years on the nightshift...3-12 hour shifts a week. The hours are hard, but so satisfying. Best job I ever had.

PrincessFiona, I read your post and blew some of my favorite red wine out of my nose!!! Yes, the physical therapists are out to kill us. If you've ever been to a physical therapist, you'll understand how true this is. Our team PT was an attractive young woman. Of course all the guys loved the chance to get some private therapy time with her.....until it actually happened. Then they couldn't stand her anymore.

And a big thank you to all of you nurses. Princess-F.....my wife and I volunteer time as "visitors" in a convalescent center. We save visiting the hospice ward for last because afterward we don't have the emotional fortitude to even speak to one another let alone patients. Thank you for what you do.

LOL!!! Very funny...sorry about the wine loss! Tonight I get to go learn how to cook.

I really do love my job, all aspects. No, it's not always easy and heart rending at times, but to be able to take care of someone well at the end of their life...I feel honored and privileged.
