Hi Mike, and welcome to DC! :flowers: Have a look around, and jump on in! The 'today's menu' is a fun place to start - we post our meals of the day, and I know I get a LOT of inspiration from seeing what everyone has on their plate. :)
 
Many thanks for the welcome folks. I truly enjoy cooking if I'm not rushed. I enjoy making dishes that require a bit more than a skillet. Chicken pot pie would be an example. Or gingersnaps. Being able to ask for opinions will be a help. My sauce for the chicken pie this last time around was the pitts. I've become a fan of Penzeys spices and sing their praises. Their cumin is to kill for. See ya in the posts !
 
I think you'll notice that many of us here sing the praises of Penzey's. Maybe we need to form a choir!
