Washing Up
Love to cook, particularly different ethnic cuisines, although baking & desserts are definitely not my forte - lol!! Also love to collect cookbooks, & have at least a couple of hundred of them which sort of makes the house look like an old used book shop.
My other passion is gardening - particularly vegetables & herbs. Since my husband doesn't eat any red meat, my cooking primarily revolves around poultry, seafood, & vegetarian-type dishes, but I don't feel that I'm missing out on much. I do, however, enjoy a good steak or lamb dish when hubby is away for dinner or when we dine out.
I also love animals, & have quite a menagerie on our fixer-upper farm, including 4 dogs, 6 cats, 7 horses, & a cockatoo.
Needless to say, all of the above, along with trying to put these 21 acres into some semblance of a home, keeps me busy.
