Hi from Seattle

I am a not an experienced cook but working on it. I have a great lentil side dish but need to know what it would go good with for a main course. What forum would I ask?

Maybe the menu forum portion. Pork goes good with lentils.

Welcome to DC!

How is your lentil side dish flavored? Is it closer in texture to a thick soup or is it more like a risotto? And what kind of lentils? Does any particular cuisine inspire it? When you say “lentils,” Indian, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean cuisines all come to mind.

Thanks for responding.

Red lentils and red beans in tomato sauce. I am just trying to work lentils into our diet more.
