Hi, I'm new here!

I haven't done the whole profile thing yet, but I googled something earlier today and got sent to a thread here...which led me to a different thread...Lol, just what I need: yet another place to lose myself among the foodies!

Welcome! Gotta love the "I just meant to click one link and stayed for several hours".

Welcome to DC. This is a great place to improve old favorite dishes. I especially like the tips and tricks like substituting cottage cheese for ricotta in lasagna. It was delicious, and more practical since I often have cottage cheese on hand, but had to buy ricotta just for lasagna.

If you can't see the bright side of life, polish the dull side.
