Howdy

Just found this site and I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all.
After 20 years of being a carpenter I changed careers and I've never looked back. I'm now the Sous at an upscale retirement comm. in the Chicago burbs.

cooking for rich old people... ughhhhh souswee. i feel your pain... lol.

an old guy sits down in a cafe and orders some soup. after letting it cool a bit, he interrupts the waiter taking another order.
"vaiter, vaiter, come here. there' something wrong, try my soup".
the waiter says he'll be there in a second and continues to take an order.
"but vaiter, come here, try my soup."
the waiter then asks what's wrong. "is the soup cold, is it the right soup, is there a fly in it?"
"please, vaiter, come here, try my soup."
so the waiter finally works his way across the busy cafe and comes up to the old guy's table.
"please, vaiter, i can't eat my soup. try it."
so the waiter looks around on the old guy's table for a spoon to try the soup, and can't find one.
"ah-haaaaaaaaa", says the old guy...

Yep, I'm called Texas, Tex, TG, Tx. only a couple of people know my real name hehe.
Not because I don't want them to, just cause I'm used to the above names.
