introduction

Hello Nucleus:

this is bigjim, welcome to one of the bests websites I`ve been on in along time, I hope you like it as much as I do, Nucleus, I have a question for you,
I don`t want you to think I stupid or some thing. But is`nt Queensland down
by New Zealand or austrailia? I was in the U.S. Navy in the early 60`s and
I was all over the pacific, we were on orders to go to austrailia that morning
when about 4 am. we got emergency orders to go up the Bering strait by
Northern Japan to pick up a seaplane that was needed our assistance. So
that was the closes i go to austrailia, I was in Cebu, P.I. at the time.
even the little short amiral was mad, he did`nt want to go up there either.
welcome to the board. I will watch, look, and listen. to see whats going on.
You take care and God Bless.....

Hi BigJim,
Yes you know your geology. Queensland is on south coast of Australia, from mid of the continent up to the north end. Looks like you were pretty close! Many navy ships come to ports, all kinds of vessels often they open for public excursions. Few come up the Brisbane river too. You can still travel for a visit, winter just started if you didn't like day temps of say 68°F - 20°C and at night 50°F - 10°C or even less in south east at night. It'll start to get to warmer weather mid of September.

your hobby

Hey nucleus:
this is bigjim, I looked at your hobby, sure does look good. have you ever
tried the deep fried turkey, thats pretty good. I cooked a couple young
turkeys about four years ago, they came out really good only cooked fot 35 minutes apiece. Have you tried other game birds that way? I bet it would
be good. I will talk to you later. if you ever need any recipes let me know.
take care and God bless....
