Kenwood dough hook

First timer so hope someone can help me. I am baking buns but have never used the dough hook of my Kenwood mixer and was advised it is brilliant. However not sure how long one needs to knead this way. Manually I would do it for ten minutes. User manual has long gone so please don't suggest I read it.

Some recipes suggest half as much kneading time on a stand mixer as compared to hand kneading.

As AM said or untill dough comes away from side of bowl and then finish by hand. By finishing by hand, if you've previously done it by hand, you should have a feel for when it's done.
