My first post

Hey, Y'all. Got here as fast as I could. This looks like a great site. A friend just gave me a Hitachi bread machine but couldn't find the recipe book that goes with it, so, I thought maybe I could pick up some ideas here. I like to cook all kinds of food, but I really love Southern cooking. Anyway, I look forward to new friends and new recipes.

Welcome to D.C. Glynyrd,

There are numerous members who are bread experts and many who are born and raised in the Southern USA, and or who have adopted the South as their home.

Be patient and you shall hear from them.

Have a lovely August.
Margi.

And a few of us belong in rockers....and some are off their rockers...
I am in both of those groups.
Welcome to D.C.!

Welcome to DC. You probably can find the manual that goes with the bread machine on the manufacturer's web site. I have several bread machine recipe books. Do you know what size loaf it makes (1 lb, 1.5 lb, 2 lb)?
