Hello my name is Renee,

I am a sous chef/line cook. I moved to Virginia about 8 months ago. I have been in the food service industry for over 20 years. I'm in the process of starting my own catering business. If anyone has any pointers for me to succeed please respond to this thread or email me at. (email deleted) Any help or advice would be appreciated as well as any dishes that anyone think would be great to add to my menu.
I joined this site so that I could broaden my palate with foods from different cultures and try new recipes. I am up for new ideas.

Welcome Renee. Don't know a thing about catering but best of luck. Does "African" has anything about where you have lived. I could use a good African recipe or two, or maybe even three! :)
