Hi All,
I am a stay-at-home dad with 3 kids. I am also an avid cook. I cook for 5 daily. I am big into buying in bulk and food budgeting.

Love doing stocks and soups from scratch.

I have a slight aversion to buying anything prepared that I could do my self, Like convenience (microwave foods) I would rather take and afternoon and make breakfast sandwiches and other quick snacks that can be frozen in a ziploc for easy micro. As much about challenging myself as a cook as it is about budget.

I am in love with yeast. Yeast is my friend!. I do a massive amount of baking, I own 3 bread machines and use them only as dough mixers, never bake in them. Bread, rolls, bread-sticks, pizza dough, Cinnamon roll dough, etc. I do also do a lot of pies, quickbreads and whatnot.

Currently working on my personal chef certification. I have done a bit of that on the side so far.

Finally I love to garden, in the summer I try to grow what we eat as much as possible.

Well, that is likely enough about me, eh?
