New House

at 3 pm 12/21/06 I started signing papers with my partner. at 3:45 I handed over the biggest check I'd ever written. At 4 pm the house was ours! The moving van comes at 8am 12/22. I'll be a Pennsylvanian again as winter begins and the Wolf range arrives with the other appliances.

I remember doing the same thing in 1970! Writing a check for what seemed to be (and was) a years pay was scary! I think it was for about $6K!!!

Just keep the mortgage as short as you dare, and you'll soon be WAY ahead of the game.

Congratulations!!!!
