I'm new to this as well as cooking. I just wanted to say hello and I need all the help I can get when it comes to cooking. My competition is my husband. I didn't realize when I met him that he was a much better cook than I thought and I wasn't as great as I thought I was! 
After I nearly burned our kitchen down I was told that my recipes are best kept in the book and we all laughed! Now I'm going out of my way trying to learn how to cook, I'm definitely a beginner. I was never taught how to cook, and after being married 2 years now I figured I'd better learn.
