At first I came to this site to find help making my mom a special recipe for her 50th birthday!

However I realized this forum could help me in much more ways, and particularly to start discovering what real cooking is all about, and improving on my skills and experience!

I'd say this is a good site for what you're looking for. Browse around and if you have specific ingredients you'd like to use try searching for them using the forum search. If you still haven't found anything after that, post a request to the members for recipes. Just make sure to give us something to start with (desired ingredients, specific dish, specific style, etc.). Oh yeah, and welcome to the forum!
