Exclamation New member question

Greetings from Northern New Mexico.

I have a large, hi-producing strawberry patch. I want to preserve the fruit as jam. Can anyone offer recipes for strawberry jam or other great strawberry uses?

Thank you in advance.

Hi, Ms. Roixie. Welcome to DC.

Lucky you to have all those fresh ripe strawberries. Someone with a great jam recipe sill be along shortly to share.

Miss Roxie...

One idea would be..buy a box of Shur-Jel. Somewhere in the box you may find recipes for various jams and jellies along with proper canning methods which can prove more important than a recipe per say.

Have fun and Enjoy!

Welcome Ms. Roxie, I third Bob's suggestion, use the shur-jel. Plenty of recipes included in the box.

Send a message via Yahoo to Barb L.

I also love freezer jam made with liquid Certo - no cooking, and family loves it !

Hi, Ms. Roxie. Welcome to DC.

Send us all your surplus strawberries.

Using Sure-Jel is almost foolproof when it comes to making jam so, go for it.
