Well, Here I Am

This forum is just what I have been looking for. Having raised five kids and married to a professional chef, I still have questions. Have been cooking for more than 60 years. Learned to cook and bake on a wood burning stove.

Welcome to where ever it is we are. I go so many places that sometimes I forget. But, no matter where I go, there I am!

A big welcome to you Addie.....you'll really like it here....good people, good food, and great fun.

Do you feel intimidated when you cook for your husband?

Welcome to DC, Addie. How are you adjusting to cooking for two? I'm 65 and cooking just for myself. In order to make my favorites, I rely on the freezer a lot.

No. We had a hard and fast rule. When he was in the kitchen, I could stay, watch and ask questions. When I was in the kitchen he couldn't not make any nasty remarks. He would just sit and read his paper. A rule we never broke. No critisism. But we had a lot of laughs when the new bride was cooking.
