Well, I'm new

New to the forum that is

Anway, live in SoCal. Went to culinary school in NYC back before foodtv network was around. Work for a while in many places in NYC, left the kitchen to raise 2 kids. Now teaching at a culinary school in Socal and doing some Personal Chef stuff. That's all on the side...nights, weekends while doing full time work. I don't miss the 6 day, 80 hour workweek in NYC but I love the teaching.

I bow to your greatness, Eric!!! Very impressive!

Mind telling us which restaurant? (I'm less than an hour away, and always looking for a new dining spot!)

I don't get to eat out much these days, but I've had really good meals at:

The Montage (Studio) -- ask for a tour of the kitchen, they have one of the 2 $100,000 stoves in America
Hush
Aubergine
Dizz's

I hear that 5 Feet is also a great place down here in Laguna.
