Welcome to DC!! What are the active ingredients added to the flour to make it 'cake' flour? That will determine the best before timeline.

Check the box that the cake flour came in and see if it has an expiration date on it other wise I would just smell it and see if it has an odor, then I would just throw it away
and get a new box.
