With my poor memory, I can harldy remember my own kids' birthdays. So I'm going to put out a great, big, and heartfelt HAPPY BIRTHDAY to everyone who's had a birthday or will have a birthday this year.

And to all the new faces, Welcome to DC. You'll find us a crazy, but happy and warm bunch. I am always telling people that I'll help them with any recipe they need. And if I don't know it, I know the people that do. And those people are the DC folks who live right here.

You're gonna like this place. Don't be shy. Jump in feet first, strap on your safety belt, and enjoy the ride.
