Best of luck, and looking forward to hearing how it turns out! If you win, will you post the recipe???

As long as the crowd loves it and you enjoy spreading the love of GOOD Chili you have already won.

Hope you win, GW! If there's a pint left, I know where you could send it...

I've been a Chili Judge here in Arkansas, in California and in Wyoming. The thing that I remember coming away with that was most important to me, was the fun, the smiles and the friendships that developed over a bowl of chili. Please, relax, talk to people and don't ever lose sight of the fun!

Sounds to me like you're the real winner, even if you don't walk off with the official prize. And anyway, if you did, what would you do then? They're probably holding out on you just to make sure you come back next year!

Hope you have a good day.

How much fun! I've only participated in a cookoff once, and I was just a helper bee (East Dubuque's chicken wing cook off). It was great fun. Lose or win, just a great time.

Sounds like you are the people's choice, hands down. Who needs a blue ribbon anyway!
