Garlic butter is great on steak.
A great steak butter, IMO, is
a bit of roasted garlic
1 part stilton cheese
1 part butter
mix it all and smash it and form it into a log
throw it back in fridge for couple hours
when you are done with steaks dab that on top and wrap em up in foil to let it melt and let juices redistribute
