Mornay Sauce Multiplied?

I now have a lot of broccoli in the frig and want to layer a lot of it with a mornay sauce. But any recipe I find only calls for one or two cups of milk, and I want to use 8 cups of milk. Can I successfully quadruple a 2 cup milk recipe?
Thanks for any suggestions
