I always make alot of gravy and freeze it to have on hand. I was going to make crispy fried turkey and thought I took a package of turkey gravy out of freezer never notice that the label said beef. Can you refreeze gravy after it has been thawed. I hate to waste the gravy. I suppose I will have to go get a roast and then remake gravy from the roast to put back in the freezer. thank all

I put in my double boiler and had in thawing/ warming up while fixing the rest of supper. so it went straight from freezer to stove. and was completely thawed and reheated before i realize it was beef.

That's OK. Freeze it. The concern was if it was left out at room temperature. Refreezing is as much a texture issue as anything else. With gravy, texture wouldn't be a problem.
