Tomato Sauce

I start with diced onions, carrots (caramelize), garlic (add last). Then add tomato paste, caramelize. Then add crushed tomatoes. Simmer. Sometimes I'll add browned ground meat (done in the pan first, then taken out), or meatballs. I'll also add parmesan to the sauce sometimes.
