So tomorrow I`m going to start marinating some pork ribs to eat the day after. An acid is always a necessary part of any marinade I made and this time I wanna use vinegar, but don`t have enough balsamic I`d usually put in for 2 racks, and have no other acids on hand but regular white vinegar which is good for nothing but cleaning with. This made me think I should just create a flavoured vinegar out of it, which I`ve yet to ever experiment with. So I was wondering if you guys know of any good recipes to flavour a regular white vinegar, one that would be good in a marinade for pork ribs? Thanks for any help you can give.

The acid doesn't have to be vinegar. Wine or citrus can serve as the acid in a marinade.

I`m well aware of that, like I said above its the only acid I have at this time.
