I want to make some homemade mustard.
Anyone have a good place to get yellow, white, and black mustard seeds for some DIY mustard?

Thanks, Chris

My local co-op has a great selection of mustard seeds in their bulk spice section; I imagine Whole Foods would as well.

I bet you could find them on-line as well at Penzy's or Amazon as well.

I got nine at Penzy's...I'm going to try for mustard sprouts for sandwiches and salad add in.

Dead simple but fantastic salad, grate a load of carrots place in a pyrex bowl.
Heat sunflower oil in a saucepan and pour in your mustard seeds, heat till they pop( they spit so use a splatter guard) pour the hot oil/mustard seed mix over the carrots toss and cool in the fridge.:)

I suspect that you could get them from an online source. Since your profile doesn't tell us where you are, kind of hard to give a local source. Our grocery store carrys the yellow seeds. We have a place called "The Fresh Market" and there is also "Whole Foods" locally that carry the black. Not sure about white.
