And besides, it was YOU who asked the question, so I was just trying to answer it for you.

You should not have asked it if you didn't think that you were gonna like the answer.

I was teasing you!! The microwave never entered my mind til you mentioned it. . .like I said, it was obvious and I missed it. Thank you for the suggestion.

Wouldn't a microwave work fast and better?

You could stack up a number of casseroles however and keep them hot.
I don't have one of these, but the nice thing is also that they can be put on a porch or laundry room out of the way to use to warm the casseroles.
