Amana oven takes a long time to heat up

It's 5 years old and just started heating slowly; the manual doesn't say anything about that.

Any ideas ?

Your best bet is to call a repair man.

If the controls all seem to be working and the oven eventually reaches the proper temperature, and assuming an electric oven, it could be the element. They can get knocked around when cleaning. I would check for a loose connection or a partially broken element. Can't hurt to check.
