Couldn't you put something in the diesel so the truck doesn't work that morning, or disconnect something crucial. That way he would still be around and could install it for you!! Wouldn't have to worry about making him lunch that day either!

That would be a great idea! Except that we don't need any more bad luck with that stupid enormous machine. With my luck I'd make one of it's problems it's already got even worse and we'd have to sell the oven on ebay to be able to afford to fix it!
If brand new cars had as much trouble as trucks after 2 years people would walk a whole lot more!!!!!
Maybe his stepdad will come up that day and do it, seeing as it was part his idea to get the thing!
