Hello all. All my life I have so far only cooked by gas. I now at this late stage have acquired an electric cooker. It is a BD 8860 dual oven made by a firm called Gorenje which I've never heard of. I suspect it is a middle European company. So the manual may have been translated and is therefore somewhat less than clear.
There are two ovens, the topmost small ovenoffers conventional cooking and grilling by infra-red heat. The larger bottom oven offers fan assisted cooking and grilling by infra-red heat. The puzzling thing is that there appears to be fans working on both ovens except when grilling. The spec says there is a tangential fan in the small oven and both a tangential fan and a radial fan in the large oven.
Has anyone any experiance of these cookers?
