Hmm, mine plugs into the wall outlet, and that's fine with me.

Wasn't clear to me because there's a part of the unit that can be separated and plugs into an outlet. Some appliances give you the option to use corded or not.

Sometimes the cord wraps around the appliance in a little recess and isn't visible when not in use. But if someone says it plugs in, I'd assume that means it has a cord.
