Cookies140 - my all-time favorite sandwich is a grilled cheese with a slice of tomato put on BEFORE grilling. It's not the same if it's put on after grilling. I'll have to try swiss cheese. I love mozzarella this way!!!!!

Have you ever tried a grilled pimento cheese sandwich with a slice of tomato?? It's pretty good too!

Wait til you get replies about Pimento Cheese - I didn't realize it was a "Southern" thing until people on cooking forums were asking what the heck it was. (Who knew?) If you come to Atlanta, head to the Varsity for a grilled pimento cheese with some greasy onion rings and a Frosted Orange....heart attack alley but ooooooh so good!

I haven't tried the pimento cheese one with tomato yet but will give it a whirl. I love the mozzarella too. We must have similar tastes.

YUM - or how about a grilled crispy piece of livermush with slaw and mustard on a bun for breakfast!!!! really yum :)

My son started asking me for that "white" pimento cheese. It took me the longest time to realize he was asking for cottage cheese! LOL

I'll be sure to let you know how this turns out. You are most likely right about the eggs unless I keep the cover up ... now methinks you are right...the eggs probably would run out!

Hi Kitchenelf

I sent you one but I am having a terrible time sending replies and am floundering here. I did add you to my buddy list but don't know how to use it.
