Help me clean my nonstick electric griddle

Hi:
Just found this place - seems neat! I have a nonstick griddle that has (I guess) oil I cannot remove from use. Even though nonstick - my pancakes still stuck and now so did the oil. The surface has a large black (stain). How can I get this puppy back to normal? The soap and scrub routine isn't doing the trick.

I'm not sure what the solution to your problem is, the fact that it's electric and therefore not amenable to soaking limits your options. If you can't get the cooking surface clean everything will stick.
