Yeah, I wasn't really thinking about size until I measured my current one. Even the compact is quite a bit larger.
(waiting for barrage of size matters comments)

lol, actually I want to finally bake my own brownies and have them come out.
The next best thing.

Funny you should mention brownies. I just now pulled out the box mix of Ghiradelli Dark Chocolate Brownie mix. It is for my daughter. She just gave me a six huge apples she got when she went apple picking and wants me to make a pie. So I will do that and make her ultimate favorite, brownies. And to go with them she wants a pot of corn chowder. Looks like I am going to be busy.

Whelp, I pulled the trigger on the compact Breville.
I was all set to buy the larger one because several reviewers of the compace model had said they had wished they would have gone with the larger unit. And the compact is not convection, but then I got out my tape measure... Those extra 2" the larger one was would really be eating into where I like to keep the toaster oven.
So the compact it is.

You will be happy with the quality of the Breville.

Just got my Breville mini, it's requiring a major rearrangement of my kitchen counter space but I think I'm getting it figured out. Looking forward to trying it!
