Infrared hot plate to boil water

I just bought a 1,300 watt infrared hot plate and am wondering how long it will take to bring 1.75 gallons of water to a boil. Any ideas?

Eliminate the wonder, put the water in a pot and time it!

I bought one of those infrared ovens...I haven't used it yet, figured I'd give it a try on the weekend. My brother likes his and convinced me it was a "must have" item. He cooks partially thawed chicken in his and really likes that it takes less time and the chicken is moist.
