ISO rice cooker recommendations

Bought the Vitaclay, 8 cup. Complete, $7.50+tax. I'll let you know what I think when I've tried it. I like the idea of a clay cooking vessel.

Please post what you think of it! I still haven’t bought anything as of yet.

I will, but it won't be until tomorrow. I host a shelter tonight. I like the idea of clay v. teflon coated aluminum. Probably just me...

Ooop...I went ahead and did two cups of brown rice. Perfect! This week I will try the slow cooker function, and rice with vegetables. I like it, so far. They have gotten less expensive, and whole dishes should come out as though cooked in a tangine.

Glad the rice cooked perfectly! I haven’t bought anything yet, so I’m going to check out the product you used.
