We picked up the sheeter attachment. Decided to make lasagna using butternut squash noodles. I have to say, we were a bit disappointed with how it handled the butternut squash, but Craig managed to finally get it to work. I'm thinking it might not be designed for really hard squashes. Before Craig got it to work, we tried a regular potato to see if we were doing something wrong and it zipped right through the potato so it's obviously the hardness.

The lasagna is italian sausage with onion, garlic and sage. There is a bechemel made with fresh sage flavored brown butter, with Parm R cheese. Ricotta cheese flavored with salt and pepper, and some of the sage that was sauteed for a short time in the bechemel butter.

med, are the butternut squash noodles made mostly/entirely out of veggies? Like a spiralizer makes "noodles" out of things like zucchini?

Wow. That's incredible.

I would love to make noodles like that. Thanks.

I need to look into this.

Med, by sheeter, do you mean the pasta attachments? I have used the "sheeter" one to roll small pieces of fondant and it works awesome. I have even used the spaghetti and fettuccine ones for making strips.

The irony is since we can only eat gluten-free pasta and it is hard to make from scratch, I have never used the attachments for pasta!

I think this sheeter is a slicer that cuts a thin sheet of squash off a fresh butternut and that thin slice of squash is used as a pasta sheet for lasagna.
