I keep strict Kashrut therefore a stick blender that has been used with anything dairy cannot be used for, say, blending chicken soup, and vice versa.

I also have one that is parve, ie isn't used for anything either dairy or meat, such as blending vegetable soups.

Thanks for explaining.

anyone have any experience with the magic bullet?
I have an imitation Magic Bullet which is ideal for what I wanted it for, BUT the O-ring gasket on the flat blade section disintegrated into my smoothie after just two uses.

Amazon US [or rather one of their marketplace traders] sells all spares - packs of four O-rings, spare blades, extra goblets etc. Magic Bullet themselves sell a pack of extras, but I don't think they sell the O-ring gaskets, which are the things most likely to need replacing, but at $1.99 for a pack of four through Amazon that's not a problem.

Well it is for me, as they don't supply outside the US.
