Congrats, Alix...so happy for you! Guy Fiearri (sp?) of Food Network has a great recipe for fried onion rings that must have 20 ingredients in the batter but is rated 5 star. Beer batter is popular. Duck Fat Fries is all the rage although I've never tried them myself.

I must control myself for a bit. Eldest daughter is getting her wisdom teeth out today and is most irritated that I planned all this yumminess when she is unable to eat. *sigh* Hopefully she will be well enough by the weekend.
