Figured a double header would keep me from going too crazy with flooding the forums with question after question, but we'll see.

Was wondering if anyone here could recommend a good dehydrator? Nesco seems to have lowered their quality standard for my friend's dehydrator lasted two rounds and she's in warranty/customer service limbo. I no longer trust Ronco after hearing about some similar limbo issues.

So would anybody know of a reasonably priced and decent quality dehydrator that's good for mid to high use/ big batch drying?

As far as pressure cookers go....

I'm tired of stove top metal pressure cookers and am considering an electric model. I wonder if one can truly pressure cook in them, however, and considering their price I'd want a true pressure cooker rather than glorified steamer.

Has anyone here had experience with electric pressure cookers? If so, is it truly as versatile as the traditional?
