Awhile ago I figured out that our oven was off by 25 degrees (25 degrees lower than it was supposed to be). I adjusted it and it worked well again...for awhile. Yesterday we baked a cake and long story short, I figured out that it was off by 15 degrees (15 degrees lower than what it was supposed to be). I adjusted it again but I can't help but feel like there's something more serious wrong with it...ideas??? It's Maytag brand from 2005. Thanks in advance for your help! :)

It might be worth calling for service. They can check the oven to ensure it's working properly and perhaps discover why it keeps going off temp.

Ovens are often off by that much or even as much at 50 degrees. They can also vary by that much in different spots of the over. The front right might be 15 degrees cooler than the back left and 10 degrees cooler than the center.

You can get your oven calibrated, although I am not sure who you talk to about doing that.

I would take the others advice and call Maytag.
