Steamers/rice cookers

Hi. Can someone recommend a good steamer?
My Oster instant steam was starting to spit out black stuff. I took the thing apart. Turns out the water goes through a plastic tube that has what looks like a metal spring on the inside and through the heating element.
So any suggestions for one that doesn't circulate like that would be appreciated.

i got a Panasonic on ebay because we like brown rice. If you only eat white rice, you can get something simple and cheap at Walmart.

Not sure what you mean. I just use an adjustable steamer basket with the pots I already have, rather than buying another small appliance.
