What is the best appliance to buy for making milkshakes?
I would like to make milkshakes and I'm wondering what the best appliance, for home use, will be for this purpose?

I know, I actually thought of a regular blender. This is why I like this forum. Right away a diferent idea. And since I do specifically look for milk shake maker, this is great.

I use a regular blender, a scoop or two of home made ice cream, milk and flavouring.
Comes out like a bought one!

Charlie, I really like my immersion blender for making smoothies and milkshakes. It works great and the best part is you can make it directly in the glass you are going to serve the shake in - nothing extra to wash.

One of those smoothie makers would work and maybe have more than one use, like the milkshake blender GB suggested. That's really cool though!
Out of these I would choose the one with the most powerful motor.
