No kidding, the cover creaks when I try to close mine. And the light won't come on as it's just sucking down the battery charge...

Good choices. I have several purchases of favorite books in my Kindle, nice to have for when I'm stuck somewhere and it's possible I will be interrupted. Easier to put the book away.

I like my Kindle for when I'm traveling--I can pack a lot more clothes now that I don't have to lug books with me.
