Food Editor's/Writer's Favorites cookbooks

anyone collect these cookbooks?
I see them every now and again and was wondering if they were any good.

Kathy, I tend to go more for cookbooks by specific authors. I do have a couple of these that are pretty good as a sampler of the work of several different chefs. I think I have a Food & Wine annual, among others.
