The Good Cook

Have any of you seen/joined this? It seems too good to be true, so I haven't joined : http://www.thegoodcook.com
I would like to know other's experiences before I try it out!

Thanks,
Sam

My executive chef is a member and he doesn't seem to have any problems with them. It is your typical book club...

Yes, I am a member. I have a fetish for cook books! I've enjoyed all of my cook books from them. You just need to remember to send back the slip each time saying you don't want the book or they will send it. You can do this on line as well.

I have done this and had good results. I was able to get some books I wanted.

The key is to be able to find cookbooks you're really interested in. Otherwise, you end up buying something you don't want and won't use just to satisfy your obligation.

I am sure it is just like every other book club. Everything works fine until you move. Then the notification department never gets your new address, and the shipping department never gets your new address, but the billing department never has a problem getting your new address.
