My wife says you are correct, it is two weeks. She says it stands for fourteen days and was shortened to fortnight.
I wouldn't know, but since I married a Canadian citizen with a British mom, I get to learn some of these things now and then ;)

Have pm you answers to the survey.

Because a lot of people (most) on here prob cook from scratch quite regually we may not be your main customer base. Have you thought of posting this survey on some of the "baby" sites (bounty or babywisperer etc) as you may find more people on there that would like to cook from scratch more regually but dont have time/money/recources etc....

Yep, the deeper I get into cooking the more the meaning of 'scratch' changes.

Several years ago I went to an auction that had three good sized hand crank meat grinders with all the goodies. I thought maybe I should bid ... NAW, can't see needing them .... plus childhood memories.

Now I wish I had gotten any of them let alone all of them.
